I couldn't resist adopting this as my crochet blog title, it's what my now 8 year old daughter called my hobby when she was 3. Her brother (2.5 years older) always corrected her, "It's called crocheting." with the exasperation only an older sibling can muster. Anyway, I like it and I figure it will serve as a little reminder as to what really matters if I get too caught up in the online crochet world....

One sock WIP is done!! I put the 2nd sock of this pair on hold when I started the crochet olympics. So, now that the torch has been extinguished.... Seriously, I really wanted to get some of these UFO sock pairs finished before I begin the felted bag project. This is from the Yahoo CAL gang. The pattern is the south-bay toe up sock with the "challenging" short-rowed heel. I modified it to include a fpdc/bpdc ribbed cuff. The yarn is Patons Kroy Sock Yarn 'Harris Tweed'.

those are great!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks great! Does this mean you'll be moving to MY socks next? (hint, hint). Don't make me beg....there's nothing worse than a man begging for socks!
Those turned out great. I haven't seen a pic of those other than the one on the pattern. I've been looking for a good beginner sock pattern, may just have to give those a shot.
Very nice socks!
Those socks are so darn cute!
Ginny, they look wonderful! Nice job.
Awesome socks--I've been meaning to crochet some for ages now, and I think this is going to be the pattern (including your cuff modification!)
