Chanson en Crochet

The capelet is done!! (well, it still needs a button, and it's drying after blocking, but I'm finished crocheting it!) It was a lot of fun crocheting it with everyone at the yahoo crochet-a-long. It was my first foray into more intricate patterns with flowers etc. Let's hope the blocking shrinks the puffiness of my petals!

Now it's blocked. What do you think?

Ginny,

I love it too! The length and color are great. I belong to the crochet along too and was debating whether or not to do this one. I'm off to get yarn and start tonight. Thanks for the motivation
(and inspiration!)

Ginny, that color is just beautiful! I made one for practice out of TLC Heather Blue (about the color of the picture with the pattern). It's puffy in the flowers and poufy in places. I haven't blocked it yet. I'm hoping that'll take care of the poufies. I used two buttons together 'cause I like them both.

It was a nice pattern, huh? Now I'll do it in silk or something with more "body" ; something expensive (for me). ; )

Wow how did you get the correct pattern for this??? I just started and at row 13 it just ends and row 14 says to crochet in cluster-3 which has not even been made yet???
